The Intelligent Hearing Systems quality system has achieved ISO 13485 registration. This implies that the company operates in a manner that adheres to the ISO standards for design, manufacturing, marketing, and servicing of every product we sell.  

In addition, the company adheres to the principles outlined by the European Union for non-implantable medical devices. The Norwegian notified body, Nemko has issued the company an EC certificate that permits us to affix the CE mark to our products for sale in the European Union.

Intelligent Hearing systems contributes to minimize the environmental impact of our equipment. This page provides information on how to comply with the WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) for the disposal of our products. The following options are available:

Equipment Upgrade

Intelligent Hearing Systems may offer upgrades to existing customers for updating the systems to the current generation of equipment. The availability of upgrades is based on the age of the unit. IHS will dispose and/or recycle the outdated parts properly. Contact our offices or your local distributor for upgrade pricing information and shipping instructions for your previous system.

Equipment Take-Back

Intelligent Hearing Systems will readily receive your used equipment once you have no more use for it. IHS will properly dispose and/or recycle the system as necessary. Systems must be shipped to the current IHS offices for processing. Contact us for proper shipping instructions.
