Duet

The AEP & OAE solution designed for an improved clinical experience

Duet is a sleek, portable, and versatile clinical EP with optional OAE system.
Over 40 years of engineering design experience, combined with unsurpassed expertise in evoked responses, have culminated in the next generation bio-amplifier to bring you superior data quality for evoked potentials and otoacoustic emissions.
The ideal clinical solution for AEP and OAE
Cleaner, high definition, robust responses with increased signal to noise ratios
Low residual noise for reduced test times without compromising data quality
Lightweight, at less than 4 lbs, fits perfectly under a 15 inch laptop
Unsurpassed portability with built-in isolation and shielding
Ready for the Clinic
Duet is built for the demands of a busy clinical audiology practice. Its compact design makes it easy to move between exam rooms, NICU bedsides, or off-site screening events without sacrificing diagnostic power. Clinicians get fast, reliable ABR, OAE, and evoked potential testing with cleaner signal quality and reduced test times, plus optional automated ABR screening for high-volume newborn hearing programs. Standard modules cover routine diagnostic needs, while optional modules let a single device grow with a clinic’s caseload instead of requiring separate systems.
The Duet is available in two packages: two-channel auditory evoked potential device or a two-channel auditory evoked potential and otoacoustic emissions device. Choose from a variety of add-on modules for the ultimate in flexibility and versatility. Upgrade anytime with minimal or no down time.

Standard EP Modules
- ECochG
- ABR (click, tone burst, iChirp)

Optional Add-on Modules:
- P300/MMN

Flexible enough for research needs
Duet is also the platform IHS builds its research tools around. The Advanced Auditory Research Module (AARM) gives investigators complete control over stimulus and acquisition timing within SmartEP, enabling Frequency Following Response (FFR), Acoustic Change Complex (ACC), and complex ABR (cABR) studies. The High Frequency option extends ABR, ASSR and DPOAE testing stimuli up to 40kHz for research beyond standard clinical ranges. SmartEP-CAM adds continuous, multi-channel AEP, OAE, and EEG acquisition for protocols that need ongoing signal monitoring rather than discrete trials. And for teams building custom paradigms, the DLL Development Kit exposes Duet’s stimulation and acquisition parameters through a language-independent library, so researchers can develop their own applications in nearly any environment
